Yes, a Wi-Fi connection is needed for full functionality. The Gate has a built-in wireless connection available. 

If no Wi-Fi can be found, the device can store up to 20 shots and upload them once it's in a Wi-Fi area.

Each client will be assigned a username and password to login to the RGS cloud, which allows access to all past and current shots. 

Yes, every time the device turns on, it will check for the next update of software to ensure all users have the most up-to-date version.

Yes, the putting gate can be used indoors and outdoors with the same premium level of accuracy.
